What is PE Foam?
Our PE foam is used for the insulation of hot and cold water pipes, air ducts, computer raised floor, wall and floor insulation, roofing structures, heat exchangers, split air conditioning systems, and a wide variety of internal components found in large air handling units. In the transportation markets, the products of Trocellen can also be found in automotive, rail and marine applications.
An excellent insulation product has always been determined by its thermal conductivity and water-resistant performance to this date. Fire safety has gained significant importance throughout the years and is a required safety standard by the fire departments around the globe.

We take fire safety very seriously by making our products comply with the Class O certification.This can often be the deciding factor in determining whether a fire can be contained and extinguished quickly or not.
Our PE foams are low in smoke emission and toxicity when burnt, and these are often the leading causes of death during a fire outbreak. In most cases, pipes and ducts are the carrier of flames that spread to the other parts of a building as they are interconnected throughout the building. Therefore it is imperative for these PE foam materials to adhere to the fire standards strictly.

Our PE foam is certified by the Australian Green Star standard, which means they are free from toxic chemicals and heavy metals. Trocellen’s PE foam is also produced without the use of CFC, HCFC, VOC, or HC’s. Unlike fibreglass insulation, our foam has minimal, non-harming levels of cancer-inducing compounds, like formaldehyde gas.
